The Weekly Word
Welcome to our Church!
St. Benilde was recently blessed to welcome the following children into our faith community through the sacrament of Baptism:
Claire Therese Bourgeois
, daughter of Michael and Kesley Bourgeois
Stella Grace Coulston,
daughter of Ryan and Melissa Coulston
, daughter of Cody and Mary Reed
It's not too late to contribute to our parish's spiritual bouquet for Archbishop Gregory Aymond. If you'd like to participate, please do so by
Saturday, August 1
using the link below. Thank you!
St. Pope John Paul II said: "The best, the surest and the most effective way of establishing PEACE on the face of the earth is through the great power of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament."
Please consider becoming a committed adorer. We promise, it will be time well spent.
The sacrament of Reconciliation continues to be offered regularly at St. Benilde Church. It doesn't matter if it's been a week or ten years. Come experience Christ's merciful love in this sacrament of healing.
Here are some examples of the prayer blankets recently made by our wonderful volunteers. If you know of someone who is in spiritual, physical, mental or emotional distress and might benefit by receiving one of these handmade items, please stop by the parish office and get one.
We also continue to welcome anyone (experienced or not) interested in becoming part of this ministry. For more information, contact Audrey at
