It was SO GOOD to have St. Benilde parishioners back in the pews this Sunday for our weekend Masses even if they were wearing masks and sitting six feet apart. Though still far from normal, it was a tremendous gift to be able to gather together once again as a faith community within our church home. Our 9 am Mass was even featured on the news
, capturing beautiful images of parishioners in prayer as well as some of Fr. Matthew Johnston's joy at being able to celebrate Mass with even more members of his flock.
For those of you still unable to physically attend due to health concerns, know that you remain in our thoughts and prayers. Parish liturgies will continue to be streamed on the
for the immediate future so as to allow you to join in worship with us from your home during this pandemic.
Please note that though daily Mass is currently scheduled for 9:00 a.m., we will be returning to the traditional 7:00 a.m. time once summer is over.
